Under The Sea Hotel Room

Under the Sea is a hospitality design concept that reimagines the experience of being beneath the ocean through an immersive, playful, and calming guest room. Originally developed as a first-semester student project, the design draws inspiration from coral formations, seashells, marine life, and the fluid movement of water. Curved furnishings, sculptural elements, glass, natural materials, and a cool ocean-inspired palette work together to create a space that feels whimsical while maintaining a relaxing resort atmosphere.
Design Concept:
Client: Ocean Resort, an underwater themed hotel and spa for people of all ages.
Project: Hotel Guest Room
Style: Fun, calm, and coastal.
Material/Colors: A blue & color palette with some other bright colors splashed in to represent different types of life from under the sea. There will be tempered glass and natural wooden materials incorporated into this design.
Design Intent: A nice cool-toned, open guest room. When stepping into this room, the guest should get the feeling of being underwater and as if they are surrounded by sea life.
